What kinds of software do you build?
Web applications, mobile apps (iOS and Android), custom backend systems, integrations, and cloud platforms. We can also help with discovery, UI/UX design, QA, and ongoing operation after launch.
How do projects usually start?
With a short conversation. We talk through what you're trying to build, what's working today, and what success looks like. From there we propose a paid discovery engagement (usually 1–2 weeks) so you have a written scope and we both know what we're committing to.
What do projects typically cost?
It depends on scope. A short discovery engagement usually runs $2k–$5k. MVP builds are typically $20k–$80k. Production platforms run from there upward depending on complexity. We can give you a realistic range after a short call.
How long do projects take?
Discovery: 1–2 weeks. MVPs: typically 8–12 weeks. Larger platforms run 3–9 months. We release in increments so you see and use the system long before final delivery.
Are you willing to sign an NDA?
Yes, we sign NDAs as a matter of course. Most of our client work is confidential, which is why our public portfolio is intentionally small — we'd rather protect what's protected than market loudly.
Where are you based and what time zones do you cover?
Kigali, Rwanda (Central Africa Time, UTC+2). We work with clients across the region, in Europe, and in North America. Our communication is async-first, so time-zone overlap isn't usually a blocker.
Do you take over existing codebases?
Often. We can audit what's there (architecture, tests, dependencies, security, ops), stabilize it, then pick up new feature work from your previous team's last commit. Stabilization typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on the state of the code.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. We offer managed service contracts with defined response SLAs, on-call coverage, security patching, and quarterly architecture reviews. Most of our long-term clients are on one of these arrangements.
What's your team size and how is the team structured?
Each project gets a senior engineer who owns delivery, a designer when UI work is involved, and a junior engineer paired with the senior. The exact size scales with project scope.
How do we stay in sync during a project?
Weekly demos (every Friday by default), a shared backlog you can see at any time, and async written updates between demos. We aim to make it so you always know what's in flight without needing to ask.
